Nuhamin Mengiste

Nuhamin currently serves on the portfolio team as an equity analyst where she contributes to building company profiles, researches underlying company fundamentals, and material racial equity issues. She first joined Nia’s team in 2019, where she worked as a research associate. Nuhamin is passionate about women’s empowerment and creating sustainable business models. She earned her degree in Economics and Finance from Minerva Schools, has earned her CFA level 1 and is currently a candidate for a Masters in Financial Analysis at the London School of Economics.

Prior to Nia, Nuhamin served as a research assistant at Bright Query, a data vendor specializing in Environmental Social and Governance data and Research Development. Nuhamin has also curated MiFi, Minerva’s financial literacy platform for first-year international students.

In her spare time, Nuhamin enjoys organizing brunches with friends, traveling to new countries, visiting art museums, and watching thriller movies.
